After the usual post-installation struggling with the ever-problematic SB X-Fi Titanium I was finally able to make it work with a modified VoodooHDA kext, with 5.1 sound and everything.
How to uninstall/remove VoodooHDA 2.8.6? I installed it with the normal installer. (pkg) Could not found any kext or an uninstaller. Pls help, thx, tom.
Or if your Hackintosh is dual boot with Windows, on boot section, log on to windows instead of Mac OS and delete VoodooHDA kext in Mac OS X S/L/E using Transmac from Windows OS. Closing words. I’ve tested it works in macOS Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, and Snow Leopard. Doesn’t work in Mavericks, Mountain Lion, and Lion (causing system freeze).

Voodoohda Mac Os High Sierra

Has anybody been able to get VoodooHDA to work? I'm having a lot of difficulty
First I tried to upgrade and after I deleted an old version of sleep enabler which was causing a KP and appleHDA
after I deleted AppleHDA, my computer would get stuck and the apple loading screen and when I boot verbose it revealed that it had something to do with the audio driver.
After a few hours of frustration, I created a clean install and it was working fine until I installed Voodoo HDA and got stuck at the laoding screen again
Now I am on my third install (2nd clean) and it works fine but I have no audio. Is anyone else having similar problem? does anyone have a solution?
